Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rock Lions (Gainesville, FL) and the visiting Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers Hawks (Washington, DC), saw Rock's basketball squad hold off Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers by a count of 43-40.

With the victory, Rock upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 28. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-0.

Next up, the Hawks play the Monsignor Pace Spartans (Miami, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 19. Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 60-47 non-league loss to Miramar (Miramar, FL).
