February 5, 2011: Allentown, NJ 08501 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ) and the host Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ), saw West Deptford's basketball squad knock off Allentown by a score of 55-39.
With the victory, West Deptford improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Haddon Township (Westmont, NJ) to battle the Hawks in a Colonial challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Haddon Township won 54-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Camden (Camden, NJ)
Next up, the Redbirds battle the Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ) in a Colonial Valley - Colonial challenge, on Monday, February 7. Allentown will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 16-0 record after their 53-9 non-league win over Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ).
