Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Danville over Pottsville
December 29, 2008: Danville, PA 17821 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) and the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), saw Danville's basketball squad knock off Pottsville by a score of 75-59.
With the victory, Danville improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA) to battle the Indians in a Heartland I challenge on Friday, January 2. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Shamokin Area won 68-52 in their recent league challenge against Milton (Milton, PA)
Next up, the Crimson Tide battle the Nativity BVM Green wave (Pottsville, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 30. Pottsville will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Green wave come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 50-46 league win over Weatherly (Weatherly, PA).
