Virginia High School Lacrosse - Broad Run can't get by Loudoun Valley
March 19, 2010: Purcellville, VA 20132 Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse team nip the visiting Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chantilly for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 29. Loudoun Valley will meet a Chargers team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-1.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Stone Bridge Bulldogs (Ashburn, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 24. Broad Run will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 17-8 league win over South Lakes (Reston, VA).
