The Lincoln Tigers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Spruce Timberwolves to 40 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilson for a 4A Region II District 12 contest on Saturday, January 8. Lincoln will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 106-36 league win over Jefferson (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-4.

The Timberwolves (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Dallas, TX). The Panthers enter the 4A Region II District 12 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest trounced Conrad (Dallas, TX), 57-53, in a league contest.
