The Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) football routed the visiting Hagerman Bobcats (Hagerman, NM), 47-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wolverines face the Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM) in a 2A District 2 bout, on Friday, October 14. Texico will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 46-0 non-league win over Dexter (Dexter, NM).

The Bobcats (0-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Chiefs enter the non-league bout with a 2-3 record.
