The Yerington Lions crushed the host Hug Hawks baseball team by a count of 17-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 19-5 record. They take the field next when they host Silver Stage for a 3A/2A Lahontan bout on Saturday, April 28. Yerington will face a Nighthawks team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Yerington (Yerington, NV). The Nighthawks record now stands at 5-14.

Next, the Hawks face the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 1. Hug will attempt to move on its 8-12 season record. The Muckers enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 12-2 league win over Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV).
