Colorado High School Basketball - Kim holds off Kit Carson
February 6, 2012: Kim, CO 81049 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Kim Mustangs (Kim, CO) and the visiting Kit Carson Wildcats (Kit Carson, CO), saw Kim's basketball squad hold off Kit Carson by a score of 41-35.
With the victory, Kim improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Holly (Holly, CO) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Arkansas Valley challenge on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Genoa-Hugo Pirates (Hugo, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Kit Carson will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 39-35 non-league win over Pikes Peak Christian (Colorado Springs, CO).
