The Ventura Cougars basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Buena Bulldogs to 35 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to San Marcos for a Channel bout on Friday, December 16. Ventura will play a Royals squad coming off a 41-33 league win over Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Royals record now stands at 8-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Santa Barbara Dons (Santa Barbara, CA) in a Channel bout, on Friday, December 16. Buena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Dons come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 59-48 non-league loss to Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA).
