Florida High School Baseball - Palmer Trinity holds off Marathon
March 8, 2011: Miami, FL 33157 Palmer Trinity Falcons (Miami, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Marathon Dolphins (Marathon, FL), 6-2 in a league test.
With the win, Palmer Trinity upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to Archbishop Curley (Miami, FL) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 9. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-7. Archbishop Curley lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Andrew's (Boca Raton, FL)
With the defeat, Marathon falls to 4-5 on the season. The Dolphins host Miami Country Day (Miami, FL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, March 10. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 5-4. Miami Country Day won 18-8 in their recent non-league test against Somerset Academy (Pembroke Pines, FL)
