The Nansemond River Warriors basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Western Branch Bruins to 50 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deep Creek for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 9.

The Bruins (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, King's Fork ran past Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 55-21, in a non-league contest.
