West Virginia High School Football - Shady Spring drops to Greenbrier East
September 12, 2014: Lewisburg, WV 24901 In Friday's non-league game, the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) football team knocked off the visiting Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV), by a score of 48-20.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their game against McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, McCluer toppled Page County (Shenandoah, VA), 42-14, in a non-league game.
The Tigers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a Coalfield AA game on Friday, September 19. Shady Spring will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 47-0 league win over Mt. View (Welch, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.
