The Merced Bears topped the host Los Banos Tigers basketball team by a final score of 74-58 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA) in a Central California game, on Friday, February 19. Merced will attempt to move on its 22-4 season record. The Thunder enter the game with a 7-18 record after their 80-44 league loss to Turlock (Turlock, CA).
