Illinois High School Basketball - Hillcrest overwhelms Richards
December 2, 2014: Country Club Hills, IL 60478 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) and the visiting Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), saw Hillcrest's basketball squad wallop Richards by a tally of 76-36.
With the victory, Hillcrest improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL) to confront the Bengals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. The Bengals come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Plainfield East lost 45-41 in their recent league challenge against Oswego East (Oswego, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Richards will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 84-71 league loss to Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL).
