Alabama High School Volleyball - Mobile Christian tips Donoho
October 11, 2008: Mobile, AL 36609 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mobile Christian Leopards (Mobile, AL) and the visiting Donoho Falcons (Anniston, AL), saw Mobile Christian's volleyball squad nip Donoho by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Mobile Christian upgrades its record to 8-17 on the year. The Leopards travel to Flomaton (Flomaton, AL) to play the Hurricanes in a 2A Area 1 bout on Monday, October 13. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Flomaton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Miller (Brewton, AL)
The Falcons now own a 24-25 record. They play next when they travel to Jacksonville Christian Academy for a 1A Area 8 bout on Monday, October 13. Donoho will play a Thunder squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL). The Thunder record now stands at 9-9.
