Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ligonier Valley nudges Blairsville

In Wednesday's league outing, the Ligonier Valley Mounties (Ligonier, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Blairsville Bobcats (Blairsville, PA), by a margin of 57-50.

The Mounties (6-12) will now prepare for their outing against Laurel Valley (New Florence, PA). The Rams go into the Heritage outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Laurel Valley was tipped by Homer-Center (Homer City, PA), 75-44, in a league outing.

The Bobcats now own a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Homer-Center for a Heritage outing on Friday, February 19. Blairsville will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 75-44 league win over Laurel Valley (New Florence, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-4.
