In Friday's non-league game, the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) football team knocked off the visiting Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE), by a final score of 49-34.

The Bearcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against McCook (McCook, NE). The Bison come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, McCook toppled Northwest (Grand Island, NE), 45-0, in a non-league game.
