The Romulus Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets to 54 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belleville for a non-league contest on Monday, March 9.

The Yellowjackets (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Flint, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Northwestern was nudged by Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI), 69-62, in a non-league contest.
