Arizona High School Basketball - Basha can't hold off Mountain View

The Mountain View Toros basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Basha Bears to 43 in the Toros league triumph on Tuesday.

The Toros now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dobson for a 5A Central contest on Friday, January 21. Mountain View will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 60-55 league win over Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-7.

The Bears (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Tigers enter the 5A Central contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Gilbert was nudged by North (Phoenix, AZ), 63-49, in a non-league contest.
