January 23, 2009: La Marque, TX 77568 The La Marque Cougars routed the visiting Dawson Eagles basketball team by a final score of 54-31 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 game, on Tuesday, January 27. La Marque will attempt to move on its 16-10 season record. The Exporters enter the game with a 7-14 record after their 58-56 league loss to Manvel (Manvel, TX).
