The Morton Panthers basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Wayne County War Eagles to 29 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgeland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 18. Morton will battle a Titans team coming off a 77-41 non-league win over Magee (Magee, MS). The Titans record now stands at 4-0.

The War Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.
