The Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Fort Bend Kempner Cougars to 36 in the Buffalos league triumph on Friday.

The Buffalos now sport a 10-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Austin for a 5A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, February 3.

The Cougars (3-22) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Willowridge (Houston, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region III District 23 contest with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Fort Bend Willowridge was dropped by Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 87-37, in a league challenge.
