California High School Basketball - Berkeley overwhelms Castro Valley
February 13, 2013: Berkeley, CA 94703 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) and the visiting Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), saw Berkeley's basketball squad wallop Castro Valley by a tally of 73-41.
With the victory, Berkeley improves its record to 15-10 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, CA) to confront the Highlanders in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Friday, February 15. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Piedmont lost 64-35 in their recent league challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge, on Friday, February 15. Castro Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-20 season record. The Farmers come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 53-32 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA).
