Rancho Rams (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Chaparral Cowboys (Las Vegas, NV), 59-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Rancho upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rams travel to Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Aggies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 16. The Aggies go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Arbor View lost 56-53 in their recent league bout against Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) in a Sunrise - Northeast bout, on Wednesday, January 21. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 44-37 league loss to Valley (Las Vegas, NV).
