The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) basketball crushed the host Mt. Eden Monarchs (Hayward, CA), 71-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Dragons (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA). The Dons go into the Hayward Area test with a 11-9 record. In their last test, Arroyo was trounced by Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA), 76-50, in a league test.

The Monarchs now own a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moreau Catholic for a Hayward Area test on Friday, January 28. Mt. Eden will clash with a Mariners squad coming off a 61-54 league win over Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 12-7.
