The Prestonwood Christian Lions basketball team scored 95 points and held the host Gainesville State Tornadoes to 40 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Faith Christian for a TAPPS 5A District 1 contest on Friday, January 9. Prestonwood Christian will meet a Lions team coming off a 79-67 league loss to Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Lions record now stands at 10-11.

The Tornadoes (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against John Paul II (Plano, TX). The Cardinals enter the TAPPS 5A District 1 contest with a 15-7 record.
