Wyoming High School Football - Star Valley drops to Powell
October 5, 2013: Afton, WY 83110 In Saturday's league game, the Powell Panthers (Powell, WY) football team knocked off the host Star Valley Braves (Afton, WY), by a final score of 30-7.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Worland (Worland, WY). The Warriors come into the 3A West game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Worland toppled Green River (Green River, WY), 17-7, in a league game.
The Braves now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cody for a 3A West game on Friday, October 11. Star Valley will battle a Broncs team coming off a 32-8 league win over Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY). The Broncs record now stands at 5-1.
