Virginia High School Basketball - Dale overwhelms Varina
December 9, 2008: Richmond, VA 23231 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dale Knights (Chester, VA) and the host Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA), saw Dale's basketball squad trounce Varina by a score of 75-38.
With the victory, Dale improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA) to battle the Monarchs in a AAA Central challenge on Friday, December 12. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Meadowbrook won 78-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Monacan (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a AAA Capital challenge, on Friday, December 12. Varina will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 64-53 non-league loss to Tucker (Richmond, VA).
