Missouri High School Volleyball - Villa Duchesne over Staley
October 15, 2011: St. Louis, MO 63131 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Villa Duchesne Saints (St. Louis, MO) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Staley Falcons (Kansas City North, MO), by a count of 2-0.
The Saints (24-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 15-18 record. In their last challenge, Althoff Catholic was dropped by O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons meet the Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 17. Staley will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS).
