Georgia High School Football - Dublin knocks off Putnam County
September 3, 2010: Eatonton, GA 31024 The Dublin Fighting Irish football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Putnam County Eagles to 17 in the Fighting Irish non-league win on Friday.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host East Laurens for a AA Region 3 battle on Friday, September 10. Dublin will play a Falcons squad coming off a 46-21 non-league loss to Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a AA Region 4 battle, on Friday, September 10. Putnam County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 56-13 non-league loss to Lee County (Leesburg, GA).
