The Cox Mill Chargers basketball team scored 69 points and held the host East Rowan Mustangs to 57 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a 3A Conference 7 contest on Tuesday, January 21. Cox Mill will battle a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 86-76 league loss to Concord (Concord, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 6-10.

The Mustangs (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Carson (China Grove, NC). The Cougars enter the 3A Conference 7 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Carson ran past Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 80-67, in a league contest.
