Tennessee High School Football - Dickson County edged by Henry County
August 27, 2005: Paris, TN 38242 Henry County Patriots (Paris, TN) fans were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their football team edge the visiting Dickson County Cougars (Dickson, TN), 19-13 in a non-league game.
The Patriots now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin County for a 4A Region 7 game on Friday, September 2. Henry County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 21-9 league loss to Henry County (Savannah, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
Next up, the Cougars meet the Brentwood Bruins (Brentwood, TN) in a 5A Region 6 game, on Friday, September 2. Dickson County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 17-0 league loss to Dickson County (Brentwood, TN).
