The Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA) basketball knocked off the host Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA), 48-32 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Sharks (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Edison was beaten by Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA), 50-48, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Hills for a non-league test on Friday, December 28. Benicia will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 50-48 non-league win over Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-9.
