Florida High School Basketball - Norland holds off Dr. Phillips
January 16, 2010: Orlando, FL 32819 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Norland Vikings (Miami, FL) and the host Dr. Phillips Panthers (Orlando, FL), saw Norland's basketball squad hold off Dr. Phillips by a score of 66-61.
With the victory, Norland improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Jackson (Miami, FL) to play the Generals in a 4A District 16 challenge on Tuesday, January 19. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 0-13. Jackson lost 46-33 in their recent league challenge against Westland Hialeah (Hialeah, FL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Edgewater Fightin' Eagles (Orlando, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 22. Dr. Phillips will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record.
