December 9, 2011: La Junta, CO 81050 Sanford Indians (Sanford, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO), 50-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sanford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO) to play the Meloneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Meloneers go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Rocky Ford won 50-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lamar (Lamar, CO)
