In Friday's league game, the Wesley Chapel Wildcats (Wesley Chapel, FL) football team tipped the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), by a final score of 20-13.

The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Buccaneers come into the 5A District 7 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Gulf got by Ridgewood (New Port Richey, FL), 35-7, in a league game.

The Sharks now hold a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson for a 5A District 7 game on Friday, October 31. Anclote will battle a Cobras team coming off a 46-14 league loss to River Ridge (New Port Richey, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 4-4.
