October 17, 2011: Prince Frederick, MD 20678 Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Thursday, October 20. Calvert will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 12-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Stone (Waldorf, MD).
With the loss, South River drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Severna Park (Severna Park, MD) to clash with the Falcons in a Anne Arundel County match on Tuesday, October 18. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 7-2. Severna Park lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD)
