Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV), 50-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valhalla upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Norsemen travel to Lincoln (Denver, CO) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Lincoln lost 75-68 in their recent non-league bout against Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 3. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Horned Toads go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 63-58 non-league loss to Hug (Reno, NV).
