Saltillo Tigers (Saltillo, MS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS), 34-13 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Saltillo improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS) to confront the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-2. Pontotoc lost 29-12 in their recent non-league test against Houston (Houston, MS)

With the loss, DeSoto Central drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS) to confront the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-0. Lewisburg won 35-0 in their recent non-league test against Kennedy (Mound Bayou, MS)
