September 30, 2011: San Marcos, TX 78666 The San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers (San Marcos, TX) football routed the visiting NYOS Charter (Austin, TX), 53-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers face the Tomball Christian HomeSchool Warriors (Tomball, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 14. San Marcos HomeSchool will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record.
The (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against New Braunfels Christian Academy (New Braunfels, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6-Man Freelance (6 Man) bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, New Braunfels Christian Academy walloped Veritas Academy (Austin, TX), 56-40, in a league bout.
First Quarter
Andy Bryant returned the NYOS kick off with a 34 yard run. Six play drive and Matt Chapman moved the ball the final 2 yards for a touchdown.
Zak Johnson recovered a NYOS fumble and 2 plays later Colin Campbell ran 13 yards for a touchdown. Matt Chapman followed up with a 2 point PAT.
Adam Bryant had a 45 yard run ending with a touchdown. Keoki Torrijos ran the ball for a 1 point PAT.
Matt Chapman ran the ball 51 yards for a touchdown.
Second Quarter
Second play of the quarter, Matt Chapman recovered a NYOS fumble. Two plays later Colin Campbell moved the ball 2 final yards for the touchdown.
Andrew Hall passed the ball to Andy Bryan for a 27 yard touchdown.
Homecoming King Hugh McCallick recovered a NYOS fumble followed by Keoki Torrijos moving the ball 1 yard for the touchdown. Matt Chapman followed up with the 2 point PAT.

Third Quarter
Four minutes into the third quarter Parker Berryhill intercepted a NYOS pass and ran 78 yards for the touchdown the ended the game with the 45-point "mercy rule."
