Indiana High School Basketball - Rushville topples Western Boone
February 20, 2010: Rushville, IN 46173 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), by a margin of 69-52.
The Lions (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Centerville (Centerville, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Centerville gained a win over Tri (Straughn, IN), 69-38, in a league outing.
The Stars now own a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sheridan for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 20. Western Boone will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 53-48 league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 7-10.
