Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect crushes Walther Lutheran
November 27, 2013: Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Walther Lutheran Broncos (Melrose Park, IL), 65-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Prospect upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 4. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Stevenson won 78-30 in their recent non-league battle against Christian Liberty Academy/Christian Heritage Academy (Arlington Heights, IL)
The Broncos (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Giants come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Highland Park was overwhelmed by St. Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 48-44, in a non-league battle.
