In Saturday's non-league outing, the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Torrance Tartars (Torrance, CA), by a margin of 39-36.

The Aztecs (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Golden Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, El Dorado was tipped by Valencia (Placentia, CA), 49-41, in a non-league outing.
