The Ashland Blue Devils basketball team scored 95 points and held the host Potts Camp Cardinals to 85 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 18. Ashland will battle a Tigers team coming off a 92-80 non-league win over Nettleton (Nettleton, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 4-0.

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Lewisburg was defeated by Myrtle (Myrtle, MS), 61-34, in a non-league contest.
