Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northridge (Middlebury, IN) and the visiting Angola Hornets (Angola, IN), saw Northridge's basketball squad hold off Angola by a tally of 47-42.

With the victory, Northridge improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The host Elkhart Central (Elkhart, IN) to confront the Mr. B in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 16. The Mr. B come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Elkhart Central lost 61-33 in their recent league challenge against South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Westview Warriors (Topeka, IN) in a Northeast Corner challenge, on Friday, December 19. Angola will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 57-51 league loss to Central Noble (Albion, IN).
