Cedar Mountain/Comfrey Cougars (Morgan, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Red Rock Central Falcons (Lamberton, MN), 86-77 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cedar Mountain/Comfrey upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN) to encounter the Chargers in a Tomahawk bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Minnesota Valley Lutheran lost 52-43 in their recent league bout against Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN)

Next up, the Falcons encounter the Murray County Central Rebels (Slayton, MN) in a Red Rock bout, on Thursday, February 17. Red Rock Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 54-52 league win over Southwest Star Concept (Okabena, MN).
