The Yates Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Sharpstown Apollos to 0 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reagan for a 4A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, October 11. Yates will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Waltrip (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-7.

The Apollos (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Lee (Houston, TX). The Generals enter the 4A Region III District 21 game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Lee gained a win over Davis (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
