In Friday's league contest, the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) volleyball squad edged the visiting Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Falcons battle the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) in a Northern contest, on Tuesday, November 1. Central Valley will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 30-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Yreka (Yreka, CA).

With the loss, Yreka drops to 20-10 on the campaign. The Miners host Anderson (Anderson, CA) to battle the Cubs in a Northern contest on Tuesday, November 1. The Cubs come into the contest with a record of 11-13. Anderson lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Corning (Corning, CA)
