In Friday's non-league match, the host El Camino Wildcats football squad scored a close 13-10 victory over the Westview Wolverines.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Vista Panthers (Vista, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 7. El Camino will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Oceanside (Oceanside, CA).
