Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Creek holds off Lowry

Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), 65-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Spring Creek upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Spartans host White Pine (Ely, NV) to play the Bobcats in a 3A/2A Ruby Mountain bout on Friday, February 3. The Bobcats come into the bout with a record of 12-7. White Pine won 56-35 in their recent league bout against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV)

Next up, the Buckaroos play the Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) in a 3A/2A Ruby Mountain bout, on Friday, February 3. Lowry will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 53-29 league loss to Elko (Elko, NV).
